Is it normal to feel nothing when the offer finally comes through?
#burnout#career-growth#offers
Four months of searching, probably thirty applications, and when the email finally landed I just kind of stared at it. No fist pump, no calling anyone, just relief mixed with exhaustion. Everyone talks about the excitement of landing an offer and I keep waiting for that feeling to show up a few days later. Anyone else go numb instead of happy?

AnonymousAnon For me the excitement showed up about a week later once the exhaustion wore off a bit. Give it some time, it might still come.

AnonymousAnon Went through the exact same thing. I think the searching itself is so draining that by the time the good news arrives there's nothing left to feel it with.
