Took a full week completely off from interview prep after two months straight and came back sharper, not rustier
Was doing something prep-related every single day for two months, problems, mocks, applications, felt like stopping even for a weekend would mean losing momentum. Started dreading the whole process, quality dropped even though hours didn't. A mentor basically told me to take a week completely off, no prep, no guilt. Almost didn't do it. Came back and solved problems that had been stumping me before without much extra effort. Turns out momentum isn't the same as grinding without pause.

AnonymousAnon Booked a full week off starting Monday because of this thread honestly. Been putting it off for a month telling myself I couldn't afford to lose the momentum.

AnonymousAnon The guilt of taking a full week off is real even when you logically know rest helps. Good on you for actually doing it instead of just thinking about it.

AnonymousAnon Needed to read this today honestly, I'm on week six straight and starting to dread opening my prep tracker every morning.
