Recruiter told me my resume read like a job description instead of a person, here's what I changed

Recruiter looked at my resume for about ten seconds and said it read like the job description I was applying to, not like a person who'd actually done the work. Went back and rewrote every bullet to include a specific number or outcome instead of a responsibility, 'reduced page load by 40%' instead of 'responsible for performance optimization.' Painful rewrite since half my bullets didn't have a number I could point to, had to actually go dig up old metrics. Callback rate noticeably better after.
