Prepped for two weeks for an OA that turned out to be three easy array questions, felt almost anticlimactic
Spent two weekends grinding sliding window and two-pointer problems because the job posting said 'coding assessment, 90 minutes.' The actual OA was three array manipulation questions I could've solved cold without touching a problem set in months. Not complaining, just surprised how much the difficulty range swings company to company even at similar levels. Starting to think the prep time should scale with company size more than with how scary the posting sounds.

AnonymousAnon This happens more than people admit. I've had OAs at supposedly 'harder' companies be three trivial questions and easier-branded companies grill me on segment trees. The posting difficulty language is basically noise, calibrate off interview reviews for that specific team if you can find any.
