Went to a meetup expecting nothing, left with an interview two weeks later because I actually talked to the person next to the pizza table

Went to a local tech meetup mostly for the free food, planned to leave after twenty minutes. Ended up talking to someone by the pizza table about a completely unrelated debugging story, exchanged LinkedIns almost as an afterthought. They messaged two weeks later saying their team had an opening and would I want to chat. Zero networking strategy involved, just a normal conversation that happened to go somewhere.
