Got asked to shadow-interview a candidate for an internal panel and watched someone freeze on a question I've asked myself a dozen times. Realized how much I read into pauses and hesitation that probably don't mean what I assumed they meant when I was the one being interviewed. Stopped being as hard on myself for needing a few seconds to think out loud.

AnonymousAnon This is such a good reframe. I've been way harder on myself for thinking pauses than I ever noticed being on candidates when I was on the other side.
