Got laid off and spent the first three days just rewriting my LinkedIn headline over and over instead of applying anywhere

Couldn't bring myself to touch job applications right after the layoff call, so I just kept fiddling with the headline instead, small controllable thing. Probably rewrote it fifteen times. Eventually landed on something specific instead of vague and that was the moment I actually felt ready to start applying for real. The headline itself barely mattered, the fifteen rewrites were apparently the actual processing time I needed.
