Got rejected after a final round and instead of asking for generic feedback I asked what would need to be true for a yes next time

Standard feedback request usually gets a vague 'strong candidate, went with someone else.' Tried asking specifically what would need to be true about my background or answers for a yes on a similar role. Got an actual answer this time, something about wanting more ownership examples at a larger scale. Concrete enough to actually prep differently for the next one.
