Spent a month on Rust and now every backend posting wants Go. Stop or push through?

Rust is going well. I like the compiler a lot. But the local job board is about 80% Go and Java. Option one: keep going for the joy of it and pick up Go later. Option two: switch to Go now and treat Rust as a side project. Has anyone made this call and regretted it either way?
