Accessibility work on my portfolio got me the only interview I've had in two months

I added alt text, keyboard navigation, and a short write-up in the README about the choices I made. The interviewer said nobody else on the shortlist had mentioned accessibility, and it turned the call into a real conversation about how I think about users. It's not a magic key, but it's a cheap thing to differentiate on if you're already building something.
