Sliding window finally clicked on problem six, not problem one

The first five felt like copying. I'd read the solution, nod along, and forget it by the next day.

Problem six I got stuck on for forty minutes. When I finally got it I could explain why the window shrinks and when it doesn't. Is it just repetition, or is there a way to get the pattern to stick earlier?
