Tailoring five applications a week beat sending fifty generic ones

Took me most of my search to notice this.

Fifty generic applications got me almost nothing. When I cut it to five a week and rewrote the first bullet of my resume to match each job's top requirement, the callback rate went up noticeably.

It's slower, and a lot of the time goes into reading job descriptions. Still worth it.
