Learned Go in three weeks for one interview. Still unlearning my Java habits

Got the offer and the team is Go-only. My instincts were pure Java: interfaces everywhere, a custom error type for every failure, no goroutines. The lead rewrote my channel code twice in the first sprint and mostly just left diffs without comment. What helped: reading the net/http and io source, then writing one small service a week with no framework. The syntax was the easy part. The idioms took months.
