Is it too early to bring up pay on a second-round call?

The recruiter asked for my range on the first screen and I gave one I now think was low. The second round is with the hiring manager and it's going well.

Should I wait for an offer to revisit it, or say something like 'I want to make sure we're aligned on comp before we go further' now? Not sure if that reads as pushy or as smart.
