First job rejection at 22, cried in the car. Two weeks later I got a better one

Writing this for whoever is reading rejection emails tonight. The feedback was 'not enough production experience', which was true. I was so sure I'd blown it that I didn't apply anywhere for a week.

When I came back I applied to fewer places with better notes. The better job came from a referral by someone I'd met at a meetup and kept in touch with. That part is the real lesson.
