Can't give a two-minute pitch of my own project without rambling. Trying one sentence first

My project is a small inventory app for a family shop. In interviews I start with the tech stack and lose everyone by minute two.

I'm trying this now: 'It's a web app that helps a small shop track stock, built so the owner can use it from a phone.' Then I wait for a follow-up question before I go into details. What's your one-sentence version of your last project?
