Asked for interview feedback after a rejection. Three questions that got real answers

I stopped asking 'any feedback?' and started asking narrower questions. 'Was it the technical bar or the team fit?' was the first, and it was easier for the recruiters I talked to to answer. Second: 'what would make me a stronger candidate for the next role here?' Third: 'is it okay to reapply in six months?' Not every company answers, but the notes I got back were more useful than my own guesses.
