Interviewer kept saying 'interesting' after my answers. Good sign or polite nod?

I couldn't read the room at all. Three different interviewers said it, and two of them moved on quickly. Did other people get read the same way, and what did you do in the next round to get a clearer signal?

Did you ask at the end what one thing to tighten? Most interviewers will give a straight answer on one point, even when they can't say more.

I'd read 'interesting' as neutral. The better signal is whether they ask a follow-up about a tradeoff. If they nod and move on, that's the one to worry about.
