Took a pay cut to move into data. Three years later, I'm not sure I'd do it again

The work's better, the team's better, but I'm still behind on the salary I'd have if I'd stayed in my old field. Not regretting it exactly. Did anyone else get a clear 'this was worth it' moment, or does it just slowly feel right?
