Moving from QA to dev: which skill came first for you?

Coding basics, a framework, or the Git workflow? Every option feels urgent when you're choosing what to study next. Would love to hear what made the biggest difference early on.

Basics first, but pick one small project you actually want to finish. Studying every option at once is what makes everything feel urgent.

Git workflow first, honestly. Once you can branch, commit, and fix a merge conflict without panic, framework tutorials go faster because you can read other people's code.
