My STAR stories all say "we." How do I make them mine without sounding arrogant?

A friend said the interviewer can't tell what I did if I keep saying "the team decided." But when I say "I decided," it sounds like I'm taking credit for other people's work. Is there a phrasing that keeps the team in the story and still makes my part clear?
