Java or Python for prep when the postings ask for both?

Anonymous6 hours ago

Eight job posts I saved list one or the other, and two list both. I'd rather not study two languages at half speed. If you picked one for interviews, which one, and did it cost you on the other side?

Pick the one you can write fastest. Python saved me time on boilerplate, and I learned the other language on the job once I had it.

Python for interviews, then pick up Java if the job is Java. Most DSA rounds accept either, and the interviewer cares more about your reasoning.
