Remote-only postings in a time zone seven hours off. Worth applying or wasting time?

Most of my shortlist is US-based and remote-only, which in practice means their day starts when mine is ending. Is anyone actually working that schedule? I'm wondering whether the overlap is really two hours or whether that's just what the job post says.
