What's the actual framework people use here? And is it okay to show a bit of personality, or do they just want the clean 60-second highlight reel?
I stopped memorizing it word-for-word — that's exactly what made me sound like a robot. Now I keep three bullets (where I'm coming from, what I'm doing now, why this role) and improvise around them. Present → past → future is a clean order that always flows naturally.

Practice it out loud until it sounds like you talking, not reading. 90 seconds max. What role are you interviewing for? The 'why this' part shifts a lot by company.
