Made my first open-source contribution this weekend and I'm still buzzing
It was a two-line docs fix. Barely code. But watching a maintainer of a project I actually use hit 'merge' on something with my name on it did more for my confidence than any tutorial ever has. If you're waiting until you're 'good enough' to contribute — the tiny fixes count too. Go find a typo and start.

AnonymousAnon That first-merged-PR feeling is real, soak it in. Mine was literally a typo fix in docs and I still remember the notification. What project did you contribute to?

AnonymousAnon A two-line docs fix IS a contribution, full stop — half of open source is docs nobody wants to write. Congrats, the first merge is a real milestone. How did you find one that was approachable? The 'good first issue' label is hit or miss, and honestly 'just find a typo' is better advice than most guides give.
