Gave my first internal talk today (terrified) and it did more for my visibility than months of heads-down work

Did a 20-minute lunch-and-learn on a debugging technique I'd figured out. I nearly backed out twice, convinced everyone already knew it and I'd embarrass myself. Half the room didn't know it. Two senior engineers thanked me, and my manager brought it up in our 1:1 unprompted.

The bar for 'worth sharing' is so much lower than the anxiety makes it feel. You don't need to be an expert, you just need to have learned something recently that someone else hasn't. Terrifying, would do again.
