200 applications, 6 interviews. Is that a normal ratio or is my resume broken?
Been job hunting for three months. Sent out roughly 200 applications, heard back from maybe 15, got 6 actual interviews, zero offers so far. Everyone online makes it sound like you apply to ten places and pick your favorite.
Is this ratio just... the market right now? Or is a 3% interview rate a sign something's wrong with how I'm presenting myself? Genuinely can't tell if I should keep grinding applications or stop and fix something first.

AnonymousAnon Before you decide the resume is broken, get one person to read it out loud to you. Mine looked fine to me and had a giant "so what" problem, all responsibilities and zero outcomes. Fixing that mattered more than raw volume did.

AnonymousAnon 3% on cold applications is genuinely normal right now, don't let it wreck your head. The lever that moved my numbers was referrals, my callback rate went from about 2% to maybe 30% the second a human forwarded my resume.
