Had to present our sprint outcomes to actual stakeholders — not just the team — for the first time last week. I know this material better than almost anyone in the room and my voice still visibly shook for the first two minutes. Nobody seemed to care nearly as much as I did in the moment. Does the nervousness fade with reps, or do you just get better at hiding it?

AnonymousAnon Recording yourself doing a practice run once helped me more than anything else. It's uncomfortable but you realize you sound way more composed than you feel.

AnonymousAnon It fades, but slower than you'd think — I'm three years in and still get a flutter for the first thirty seconds of a stakeholder demo. Nobody in the room notices though, promise.
