Picked the internal transfer over the external offer with a bigger title bump

Had an external offer with a better title and maybe 10% more pay, and an internal opening on a team I'd wanted to join for a year. Went internal. The pitch to myself was that I already know how this company actually works, which counts for more than people admit when you're trying to ramp fast. Three months in, no regrets yet, but curious if anyone's taken the external jump instead and had it pay off bigger long-term.
