Started writing down three questions before every 1:1 and my manager actually started prepping too

1:1s used to be fifteen minutes of 'anything on your mind?' followed by both of us kind of improvising. Started showing up with three specific things written down beforehand, even small ones. A few weeks in my manager started bringing their own notes too instead of winging it. Small change but the meetings actually produce decisions now instead of just a status check.

AnonymousAnon Started doing something similar and the biggest change for me was writing the questions down instead of just thinking them, having it on paper made me actually bring up the annoying small stuff I'd normally let slide.
