Two offers, both good, and I've now spent more hours comparing spreadsheets than I spent in either interview process
One offer has better cash and a worse team from what I could tell in the loop, the other has meh cash but a manager I actually clicked with. Made a spreadsheet. Then a second spreadsheet. Asked four different people and got four different answers. I think I'm not actually missing information at this point, I'm just scared of picking wrong and mentally rehearsing every path so I don't have to commit to one. When did you know you were just stalling instead of deciding?

AnonymousAnon One thing that helped me was picturing myself explaining the choice to a friend in one sentence. If the reason sounds thin out loud, that's usually the one to skip.

AnonymousAnon The spreadsheet trap is real. What got me unstuck was giving myself an actual deadline, like end of day Friday, and telling both recruiters that date. Having an external deadline did more than any pros/cons list.
