Did my first weekend hackathon and swung between "this is the best thing I've ever done" and "I want to quit tech" within twelve hours
#consistency#learning
Team of four, built a scrappy prototype in about 30 hours, barely slept. Hour 20 I was convinced we were making something genuinely cool. Hour 26 I was questioning every decision I've made in my career. We didn't place, but I learned more about actually shipping under pressure in one weekend than in months of solo tutorial-following. Would still do it again, just wasn't ready for the emotional whiplash.

AnonymousAnon The whiplash is basically the whole experience honestly. Hour 26 you is more accurate about your actual skill level than hour 20 you, but neither of them is as accurate as day 3 you after some sleep.
