One interviewer on the panel seemed checked out the entire time and I couldn't tell if I was bombing or they were just having a bad day
Three-person panel, two were engaged and asking good follow-ups, the third barely looked up from their laptop and asked one question the whole hour. Spent half the interview trying to read a room that wasn't giving me anything back instead of just focusing on my answers. Got through to the next round anyway, so I guess it didn't matter, but I wasted a lot of energy in the moment on something I had zero control over.

AnonymousAnon Did you ever find out if they were actually involved in the decision? I've wondered before whether the quiet ones in a panel even get a vote or if they're there for a different reason entirely.

AnonymousAnon Could've been a scheduling thing, sometimes people get pulled into panels back to back and are just running on fumes by the third interview of the day. Glad it didn't end up mattering for you either way.
