Took a "sick day" to interview and spent the whole time convinced my manager somehow knew
#job-search#workplace
First interview during work hours at my current job, told my manager I wasn't feeling well, then spent the entire video call paranoid that my camera background looked different from my usual home setup or that someone would see my calendar. Got through it fine, nobody said anything, but the guilt was way more exhausting than the actual interview questions were. Does that feeling ever get easier the more times you do it?

AnonymousAnon It does get easier, mostly because you get faster at the whole loop and spend less total time in that anxious state. First one is always the worst because everything about it is new.
