Two weeks of silence after a final round that felt like a lock, then a form rejection with my name misspelled
Four rounds, then a final loop with the eng director that genuinely felt good, the kind where you're already picturing your desk setup. Recruiter said she'd have an update by Friday. Friday came and went. I followed up Monday, then again the following Monday. Ten days later, form rejection, subject line "Update on your application," and my name was spelled with an extra letter at the end. I don't even know what to feel worse about, the ghosting or the fact that whoever sent it never read it before hitting send. Back to zero, third time this year.

AnonymousAnon Did you get any read on where it fell apart, or was the final loop actually the last real signal you had? Trying to figure out if asking for feedback now is worth it or just shouting into a void.

AnonymousAnon This tracks with what happened to me back in March, four rounds and a warm debrief call, then three weeks of nothing before a template addressed to "Hi there". At some point silence is the answer, I just wish they'd give us that sooner.
