Asked a friend to mock interview me and the feedback was rougher than any real interview I've had

She works in eng, agreed to do a behavioral round as a favor. Twenty minutes in she stopped me and said I hadn't actually answered the question in three of my last four answers, just talked around it until I ran out of time. Recorded the next one and she was right, I do this thing where I narrate context instead of getting to the point. Real interviewers are too polite to say that out loud. Grateful she wasn't.
