Sixty cold applications, zero interviews. One referral, three interviews in two weeks.

Not a complaint about the sixty, most of those were probably fine applications into a pile of five hundred others. Just logging the contrast because it recalibrated where I spend my time now. Referral came from someone I'd talked to at a meetup four months earlier who I'd honestly forgotten about. Going to keep applying cold because it costs nothing, but the actual plan now is showing up to more of those meetups.
