Turned down a promotion because the new role was 90% meetings

It came with a better title and a real bump in pay. Sat with it for a week and turned it down because the actual day-to-day would have been almost entirely coordination and almost no building, and building is the part I'm still not tired of. People at work seemed confused. My manager, to their credit, didn't push.
