Told a recruiter my timeline was flexible and immediately regretted it

Wanted to sound easygoing, ended up in a process that dragged for seven weeks because there was zero urgency pushing it forward on their end. Next recruiter call I gave an actual date, made up but reasonable, and that process moved in nine days. Not saying lie about it, just that "flexible" apparently means "no rush" to a hiring pipeline.
