Startup interview turned into a ninety minute conversation with the founder about nothing technical

Expected a coding round, got asked about a time I disagreed with a manager, what I do when I'm stuck for more than an hour, and whether I'd rather ship fast and fix later or slow down and get it right the first time. No whiteboard, no take-home, just him taking notes on a legal pad. Found out later the technical bar gets checked with a paid trial week instead. Still not sure how I feel about that structure but the conversation itself was the best interview I've had.
