Stopped sending 'I'd love to learn about your experience' messages, they went nowhere for months. Switched to naming one specific thing from their recent post, asking one specific question about it, no ask for a call in the first message. Reply rate went from basically zero to about one in five. The people who did respond mentioned the specificity directly as the reason they bothered.

AnonymousAnon One thing I'd add, keeping it under four sentences mattered as much as the specificity for me. Long messages got ignored even when they were personalized.

AnonymousAnon Trying this template tonight, the specificity point makes sense, most of what I've sent has been embarrassingly generic in hindsight.
