Two weeks into a fully remote job and I've had exactly one video call

Everything else has been async messages and PR comments, which sounded ideal on paper and has actually made me feel oddly invisible. Nobody's said anything is wrong, the work is going fine, I just have no read on how I'm actually perceived without ever seeing a face. Scheduled an optional video 1:1 with my closest teammate this week mostly just to check that I still exist to these people.
