Standup every morning and I still say 'no update' more than I'd like to admit
Three months in and half my standups are just "still working on the same ticket, no blockers." Not stuck exactly, just the ticket is bigger than a single day and there's nothing new to report every 24 hours. Started batching what I actually did into two-line bullets the night before so it at least sounds concrete instead of vague. Nobody's said anything about it but I still feel like the quietest person in the room every single morning.

AnonymousAnon Following because same. My lead once said the quiet person in standup is usually the one actually deep in the hard ticket, the chatty updates are often the easy tickets. Didn't fully believe him but it helped.

AnonymousAnon This was me for my first four months. What helped was reframing it as "here's the concrete progress" instead of "here's whether I'm done," doesn't need to be finished to be worth saying out loud.
