Does anyone else keep a doc of dumb questions you were too embarrassed to ask in the moment
#first-job#imposter-syndrome#learning
Not urgent stuff, just small things like why a function is named the way it is or what a config flag actually does that I nod along to instead of asking. I've started writing them down and looking them up later instead of interrupting a meeting. Half the time the answer is trivial and I feel silly for not asking out loud. Wondering if this is just a first-job thing or if senior people still do this.

AnonymousAnon Senior person here, still do this. The nodding-along thing doesn't go away, you just get better at picking which meetings are worth interrupting.

AnonymousAnon Do this too, mine's literally named questions.md. Half never get looked up again because writing it down alone answers it.
