Two competing offers with deadlines four days apart and I just asked both recruiters to extend

Offer A wanted an answer by Friday, offer B wouldn't have their number ready until the following Tuesday. Was fully prepared to just pick blind under pressure until someone told me asking for an extension is normal and low-risk. Both recruiters said yes without pushback. Ended up comparing real numbers instead of guessing, which changed my answer completely from what I would've picked on gut feeling alone.
