Cried in the parking lot after a rejection call and then drove to my next interview twenty minutes later
Had back to back interviews scheduled the same afternoon, didn't plan it that way, just how the calendar landed. First one ended early with a tone I recognized immediately, the polite wrap-up that means no. Sat in the car for maybe ten minutes doing the thing where you tell yourself it's fine while very much not feeling fine. Almost canceled the second one, typed out the message and didn't send it. Went in instead, mentioned nothing, and it turned into an offer two weeks later. Not a lesson about resilience or whatever, just that the two calls had nothing to do with each other and I needed the reminder in the moment.

AnonymousAnon Needed to read this today honestly. Rough week of calls on my end too and it helps to hear the two things really were unrelated.
