Got laid off in March and this is genuinely the first time I've job hunted in a market like this
#job-search#layoffs
Last time I looked for a job it took three weeks and I had two offers to pick from. This time I'm five months in. Nothing about my resume changed, the market did. Still trying to unlearn the instinct to take that personally. If you've been through a layoff and came out the other side, what actually moved the needle versus what just felt productive?

AnonymousAnon Went through this last year. What actually helped was leaning on people I'd worked with before instead of cold applying, warm intros moved faster than anything on the job boards. Sorry you're in it, five months is a long stretch.
