Stopped checking how fast other people in my cohort got offers and my own search got easier almost immediately

Someone in my bootcamp group chat posts every offer the second it lands. Good for them genuinely, but I noticed I'd check my phone, see their update, then spiral for the rest of the day instead of applying. Muted the chat for two weeks. Not proud of needing to, but my application count went up the same week.
