Is it normal to forget basic syntax the second someone's watching you type

I can write a for loop in my sleep. Put a person on the other end of a screen share and suddenly I'm typing 'def' with a colon in the wrong place. Not asking how to fix it forever, just want to know if this fades with reps or if I need an actual strategy for it.
