Final round felt great and now it's been eleven days of silence and I'm trying not to read into it
Interviewer and I went twenty minutes over, talked about a project she was excited about, said something like "we'll be in touch soon" on the way out. That was eleven days ago. Portal still says "under review." I know the rational read is headcount approval or an internal candidate got priority, nothing to do with the actual conversation. Doesn't stop me checking my email four times a day though. If you've been on the other side of a long silence like this, did it usually end up meaning what I'm afraid it means?

AnonymousAnon For what it's worth I once heard back after three full weeks of silence with an offer, so eleven days really isn't unusual. The waiting is just brutal regardless of what it ends up meaning.

AnonymousAnon Eleven days isn't even that long honestly, in my experience the good-feeling ones that go quiet are almost always process stuff on their end, not the interview itself. Did they give you a timeline at all going in?
